This past year- I had the incredible privilege to have Devorie as my Lactation Consultant for a first-time breastfeeding experience. Her generosity with time, compassionate demeanor, and wealth of knowledge are what helped me continue breastfeeding - even during some trickier moments (not to mention, a global pandemic!). A few highlights: She noticed that my daughter’s latch was not improving- despite great technique recommendations (by Devorie, of course), and so she accurately recommended that we get evaluated for a tongue tie. Sure enough, my daughter had one and we quickly nipped it in the bud- thanks to Devorie’s incredible eye and observational skills. Everything from sore nipples, to blanching- and then finally, going back to work and navigating pumping Devorie guided me through with comprehensive resources, a listening ear, and practical advice. We are 7 months into our nursing journey and I owe it entirely to Devore. Thank you!!!
